On the afternoon of October 15, the CPPCC Zhenhai District Committee organized a democratic review activity for proposal handling, conducting inspections and evaluations on the implementation status of proposals undertaken by the Zhenhai District Civil Affairs Bureau in 2025, aiming to enhance the quality and efficiency of proposal processing.

The review team conducted a field inspection of the Home-based Elderly Care Service Station in the Qingfeng Community, Jiaochuan Subdistrict, gaining a detailed understanding of the station's operation and the effectiveness of proposal handling. During the subsequent meeting, the review team examined the handling records, listened to the work report from the Zhenhai District Civil Affairs Bureau, provided on-site opinions and suggestions, and conducted scoring evaluations.

It’s pointed out at the meeting that carrying out democratic review of proposal handling is an important means for the CPPCC to perform its democratic supervision function and improve the quality of proposal work, with its core lying in "using evaluation to promote improvement and using evaluation to promote excellence". The meeting emphasized that this review should be used as an opportunity to precisely focus on the "bottlenecks" and "difficulties" in proposal handling and public service delivery, strengthen inter-departmental coordination, form a synergistic effort, and ensure that members' reasonable suggestions are truly translated into policy measures that solve problems and visible governance effectiveness through continuous follow-up and evaluation. It’s hoped that the Zhenhai District Civil Affairs Bureau will further emphasize the transformation and application of proposal outcomes, implement the review comments, continuously enhance public service brands such as "Happy Aging in Zhenhai", and constantly elevate the people's sense of gain, happiness, and security.
