The Department of Economy and Information Technology of Zhejiang recently announced the 2024 recognition and evaluation results for sector specific Industrial Brains in the industrial field. The "Chemical Industry Brain" platform was rated as the city's only Pioneer-level excellent sector specific Industrial Brain.
Zhejiang Zhihuiyuan Digital Technology Co., Ltd. is the operating entity of this platform. "Zhihuiyuan stood out due to its benchmark practices in the digital transformation of the chemical industrial park sector," said Chen Yongming, General Manager of Zhihuiyuan. The platform focuses on building application scenarios for green petrochemical enterprises, green petrochemical parks, and government needs. It deeply integrates functions like intelligent production scheduling, process optimization algorithms, and safety risk early warning, effectively addressing industrial pain points.
Leveraging the Chemical Industry Brain, Zhihuiyuan has assembled leading partners, including the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Zhejiang Academy of Emergency Management Sciences. They collaboratively conduct research and development in areas such as big data analysis, dynamic assessment of enterprise safety risks, and emergency accident simulation analysis, working together to build an intelligent safety risk management and control platform for chemical industrial parks. This platform possesses six core functions: basic safety management, major hazard source management, dual prevention mechanism, special operation supervision, closed-off management, and agile emergency response. It has already served industrial parks in numerous locations across China, including those in Zhejiang, Anhui, He’nan, and Ningxia.
Chen Yongming said that Zhihuiyuan will continue to enhance the functionalities of the "Chemical Industry Brain" platform. Following an intelligent development path centered on the deep integration of "Data + Mechanism + Knowledge", the company aims to build an intelligent decision-making system covering the entire production process. This will deeply embed the goals of safety, quality, efficiency, and low-carbon into all aspects of chemical park production operations and enterprise management, promoting a fundamental shift for traditional chemical parks from "experience-driven" to "intelligent decision-making", and contributing to high-quality economic and social development.
