In the morning of May 29, the 18th Meeting of the 11th Standing Committee of the CPPCC Zhenhai District Committee was held. Lin Daji, Chairman of the CPPCC Zhenhai District Committee, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Vice Chairpersons Huang Xianghua, Luo Longli, Weng Guoguang, Mao Qunyi, Ma Zhenwan, and Secretary-General Chen Kai attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed and approved personnel matters, including adjustments to the membership of the CPPCC Zhenhai District Committee. Lin Daji emphasized that CPPCC work is highly specialized political work, with specific rules and norms governing both substance and procedure. He urged members to enhance their consultation capabilities through self-directed learning, self-education, and self-management, striving to become exemplary leaders who "understand the CPPCC, excel in consultation, and are skilled in offering advices". He called for strict adherence to discipline and rules, continuous improvement in work conduct, and the cultivation of moral integrity. The CPPCC Zhenhai District Committee should be built into a "home for members, democracy, unity, and integrity", fostering a harmonious and warm collective.

Before the meeting, Huang Zhaohui, a senior expert and professor-level engineer from the Sinopec Group, was invited to deliver a lecture titled "Development of the Petrochemical Industry and the Practices of Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Company". Huang Zhaohui provided an accessible yet in-depth analysis of the petrochemical industry's high-quality development, focusing on industrial trends and technological innovation, with examples from Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Company's practices. Attendees noted that the lecture was highly relevant, combining theoretical depth with practical insights, offering valuable reference for future political participation and policy recommendations.
