In the afternoon of April 24, the Standing Committee Meeting of the CPC Zhenhai District Committee held a meeting to convey, study, and follow the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches delivered at the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau Meeting reviewing the “Regulations on Ecological Environmental Protection Inspection” and the “Comprehensive Report on the Fourth Round of Inspections by the 20th CPC Central Committee”, as well as the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important article of “Accelerating the Building of a Cultural Power”, published in the Qiushi Journal. The meeting also discussed implementation measures for our district.

The meeting noted that the “Regulations on Ecological Environmental Protection Inspection” represents an enhancement and refinement of the top-level design for environmental inspections.

It is imperative to thoroughly study and implement the ecological civilization philosophy, strictly adhere to the requirements of the “Regulations”, resolutely implement the CPC Central Committee’s decisions and deployments on ecological civilization construction, maintain a problem-solving approach to ensure closed-loop rectification, address both symptoms and root causes while emphasizing long-term effectiveness, and coordinate efforts to reduce carbon emissions, cut pollution, expand green initiatives, and promote growth, thereby supporting high-quality development with a high-quality ecological environment.

The meeting emphasized that General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech during the review of the “Comprehensive Report on the Fourth Round of Inspections by the 20th CPC Central Committee” systematically outlined measures to sharpen the sword of inspections and advance high-quality development in inspection work.
