In the morning of August 20, Gao Feng, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and his delegation visited the Ningbobang Museum for research on the construction of the Base Returned Overseas Chinese for International Cultural Exchanges. Hu Huilei, a member of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the Zhejiang Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Ye Miao, a member of the Party Group of the Ningbo Municipal People's Government and Director of the Administrative Committee of the Ningbo Economic Development Zone, Ren Jiancheng, Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of the Ningbo Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and Yang Yi, a member of the Standing Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Zhenhai District Committee, attended the activity.

The Ningbobang Museum was awarded as one of the first batch of Bases Returned Overseas Chinese for International Cultural Exchanges by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese in 2015. The museum integrates functions such as exhibition display, publicity and education, research and collection, and social exchanges, fully leveraging its functions of "serving returned overseas Chinese, displaying images, serving as a friendly bridge, and spreading culture". By showcasing the development epic of Ningbonese from both at home and abroad who have worked hard and achieved success, it promotes the patriotic and hometown love of Ningbonese, and creates an "emotional landmark and spiritual home" for Ningbonese around the world.

During the visit to the museum, Gao Feng watched exhibitions and listened to introductions, learning about the situation of elites with roots in Ningbo from at home and abroad who care about their country and homeland, and support the construction of their motherland and hometown. He praised the museum for its rich cultural resources and remarkable achievements in protection and inheritance.

Gao Feng emphasized the need to deeply study and implement the spirit of the important reply from General Secretary Xi Jinping to Hong Kong entrepreneurs with roots in Ningbo, to deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on affairs related to returned overseas Chinese, to actively carry out cultural exchanging activities for returned overseas Chinse based on the Base Returned Overseas Chinese for International Cultural Exchanges, to tell the stories of China well, and to unite the hearts and strength of returned overseas Chinese. It's necessary to further strengthen our ties with elites with roots in Ningbo from both at home and abroad, constantly deepen various measures to serve returned overseas Chinese, guide overseas Chinese and returned overseas Chinese and their families to devote themselves to the construction of the Chinese path to modernization, constantly explore the work of the federations of returned overseas Chinese and make new achievements, and strive to make contributions to the returned overseas Chinese community for high-quality development.
