On January 25, on the basis of daily workplace safety inspections, the Ningbo Petrochemical Economic and Technological Development Zone established five new fire safety inspection teams to conduct carpet-style inspections on enterprises with high fire risks such as "small-sized places of nine categories", residential dormitories, electroplating enterprises, textile printing and dyeing enterprises, and hazardous chemical enterprises in the park, effectively eliminating potential fire hazards.

The painful lesson of the "1.24" fire accident in the Yushui District, Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province is right in front of us. The Petrochemical Economic and Technological Development Zone dares not relax, actively strengthening safety production guarantee forces, increasing safety production investigation and work efforts, and striving to ensure the continuous and stable workplace safety in the park.

Before the five new inspection teams set off, a meeting was held by the Petrochemical Economic and Technological Development Zone Office for Fire Safety and Safety Production to deploy tasks for workplace safety, convey the spirit of the important instructions made by general secretary Xi Jinping on the fire accident in a shop near a street in Yushui District, Xinyu City, Jiangxi, analyzing major potential fire safety risks in the park, and deploying tasks for special inspections for fire safety. Subsequently, the 5 inspection teams went deep into the park to investigate and rectify potential safety hazards. Grid personnel from 22 grids also joined the inspection team and went to the front line of enterprises to supervise the implementation of the main responsibility for fire safety and workplace safety.

For the next step, the Zone will further combine the ongoing special activities of "serving enterprises to ensure safety and promoting project development", prioritize eliminating safety hazards and ensuring safe holidays, and consolidate the foundation of workplace at the end of the year and the beginning of a new year.
