Recently, it was learnt from the Zhenhai District Science and Technology Bureau that in the list of provincial-level enterprise research and development institutions recently announced by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, 11 high-tech enterprise research and development centers in Zhenhai, including the Zhejiang Miruo Technology Electrochromic New Materials and Devices High-tech Enterprise Research and Development Center of the Ningbo Miruo Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., have been selected, joining the team of provincial-level high-tech enterprise research and development centers.

The 11 high-tech enterprise research and development centers selected in our district cover multiple fields such as new functional materials and key basic components, etc., among which 6 enterprises boast annual sales revenue exceeding 100 million yuan each. "These enterprises are well aware of the value of innovation, with research and development expenses accounting for over 5% of the company's sales revenue in that year. Among them, the Zhongtong Testing's research and development expenses account for as high as 13.42%." A relevant person in charge of the Zhenhai District Science and Technology Bureau said.

The annual sales revenue of the Miruo Technology, a national level outstanding "little giant" enterprise, has exceeded 140 million yuan. Ten years of hard work have enabled Miruo Electronic Technology to break through the bottleneck of key technologies for the development of electrochromic materials, industrial applications of devices, and manufacturing of key core components. "The technology we have mastered fills the domestic gap and we have become the only domestic enterprise that has successfully developed and converted electrochromic materials and devices into mass production." At present, the Miruo Electronic Technology has obtained 22 invention patents. "Being awarded the provincial high-tech enterprise research and development center will assist our enterprise in manufacturing, education and research cooperation, research and development investment, intellectual property accumulation, and technological achievement transformation in the forefront of electrochromic new materials, effectively enhancing our enterprise's market competitiveness and brand influence in the field of electrochromic subdivision technology."
