On November 16, the Ningbo Field Meeting for the Promotion of Prefabricated Decoration and Residential Engineering Quality Improvement was held in the Zhenhai District. Xu Feng, Deputy Director of the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Zhejiang Province, Pan Bolin, Chief Engineer of the Ningbo Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, and Qian Rong, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Ningbo Municipal Committee and Executive Vice District Mayor of the Zhenhai District, attended the meeting.

The attendees observed the affordable rental housing project on the ZH10-03-03 plot in the Zhenhai District onsite. This is the first full steel structure residential project to start construction in Ningbo and also one of the first batch of prefabricated decoration pilot projects in Ningbo. The observation site has set up assembly decoration observation areas, secondary structure display areas, and demonstrated the application of cutting-edge technologies in construction projects, providing a platform for attendees to learn and exchange.

Prefabricated decoration is a type of decoration method that uses dry construction to assemble and install the components produced by the factory onsite. Compared to traditional decoration, it has the characteristics of "integrated prefabrication of components, separation of pipeline structures, and detachable and recyclable". The development of architectural industrialization has entered a new stage, and prefabricated decoration has implemented new development concepts and improved the quality of prefabricated residential buildings.

This year marks the beginning of the pilot promotion of prefabricated decoration in the province, and the Ningbo City has issued a pilot working plan. This meeting aims to jointly promote the high-quality development of construction industrialization and to make new contributions to the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry. "Through this onsite promotion meeting, we will continue to improve the quality of residential projects in the city and accelerate the pilot work of prefabricated decoration." A relevant person in charge of the Ningbo Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau said that for the next step, they will focus on the quality issues of residential engineering that concern the public, and enhance quality awareness, standardize quality behavior, and improve quality levels throughout the entire chain.
