The Provincial Science and Technology Department recently announced the list of provincial international scientific and technological cooperation carriers in 2022. The "international scientific and technological cooperation base for intelligent control and high-end equipment" led by Gao Huijun, President of the Ningbo Intelligent Equipment Research Institute and the Chief Expert of "Innovation Zhenhai", has been recognized as a provincial international scientific and technological cooperation base.

The "international scientific and technological cooperation base for intelligent control and high-end equipment" is established by relying on the Ningbo Intelligent Equipment Research Institute. The base has established long-term stable and diversified cooperation with many overseas universities, scientific research institutions and enterprises, such as the University of California, Berkeley, the Seoul National University, the University of Victoria, the Universidade de Vigo, the University of L'Aquila, the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, and the Bogazici University, etc., having introduced more than 10 high-level overseas talents.

At present, the Ningbo Intelligent Equipment Research Institute is cooperating with famous universities, scientific research institutions and enterprises at home and abroad to jointly overcome scientific and technological problems. Yu Xinghu, Executive Director of the Ningbo Intelligent Equipment Research Institute, said that the recognition of the provincial international science and technology cooperation base will further enhance the scientific and technological innovation vitality of the Ningbo Intelligent Equipment Research Institute. "Our institute will gather multiple wisdom and strive to realize the localization of core key technologies in the field of high-speed and high-precision mounters." Yu Xinghu said.

The carrier for international scientific and technological cooperation is an important platform for the Zhejiang Province to promote precise global scientific and technological cooperation and to participate in the coordinated governance of international innovation. The Zhejiang Province plans to accelerate the construction of an all-round, multi-level and cross-domain international science and technology open cooperation platform from basic research to application research and from demonstration to application transformation, and form an international scientific and technological cooperation carrier system consisting of international scientific and technological cooperation bases, overseas innovation incubation centers, international joint laboratories, enterprises' overseas research and development institutions, and foreign-funded research and development centers with internal and external interactions, complementary functions, and differentiated development, and improve the province's ability to gather together international high-end innovation resources and global scientific and technological governance.
