Recently, Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Company has successfully developed and produced 450 tons of the special material N40Q for new antibacterial non-woven fabrics, filling the blank in the field of antibacterial nonwoven fabric special material in China.

Light, soft, non-toxic and breathable antibacterial non-woven cloth can be used for the manufacturing of operating gowns, protective clothing, disinfection cloth as well as in fields of baby diapers, wipes and sheets. In recent years, the domestic demand for antibacterial non-woven cloth is growing. However, the raw materials for making such cloth all depend on imports.

Focusing on people’s demand of the antibacterial non-woven cloth, Sinopec carries out a major project of “Development and Application of Antibacterial and Mildew Proof Resin” this year. Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Company, together with Beijing Chemical Industry Research Institute Co., Ltd., finally developed the addictive package upon repeated formulation on the basis of highly active antiseptic.

In order to ensure the orderly trial production of the antibacterial non-woven fabric, Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Company has worked out a detailed production plan, predicted the risks in the whole production process, put forth production safety and quality control measures, paid close attention to product appearance, odor and the amount of chemical additives to ensure a smooth and controllable production process.

As a major producer of global kayaks, China still relies mainly on imports to solve the problem of raw materials. A few days ago, Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Company successfully produced 800 tons of high rigid impact resistant and aging resistant new product R548U which is of the same quality as those hot-selling products produced by international well-known enterprises and is mainly used for the manufacturing of kayaks and other watercrafts.
