Objectives and tasks

　　To further strengthen construction of cultural and sports facilities, build district social organization public service center (District volunteer service center), deepen construction of "Civilized City", and improve quality of public morality.

　　There are sunny book houses and 24-hour self-service libraries for reading books and newspapers, stadiums and sports parks for fitness; rural culture hall for performing arts; social organizations public service center for public service hatching...... Cultural people-benefit project in our district including 5 sub projects that is Gutang stadium, green axis sports park, 24-hour self-service libraries, rural culture hall and district social organizations public service center is progressing smoothly now.

　　Culture light life

　　"There is such a beautiful practical park in front the door.” Xu Wei lives Shuimu Qinghua said “it is too lucky”. "The football field is basketball court is blue, green, the runway is red, the water is blue." He comes to here for running every morning and has fallen in love with green axis sports park.

　　Currently, first phase of green axis sports park located in Zhuangshi sub-district has been initially completed and all works have entered the last step. Site area of first phase of the park is about 11.62 hectares, including indoor sports venues, children and elderly venues and outdoor sports venues, fitness walking system, landscape water construction and planting. Xu Wei is looking forward to green axis sports park after the full opening.

　　Gutang stadium of Zhaobaoshan sub-district will put into use at the same time with green axis sports park. In order to make up lack of comprehensive indoor stadium in the sub-district, Zhaobaoshan sub-district started construction of Gutang stadium last year, at present has completed the civil part, and can be carried out indoor decoration after the Spring Festival. "In the past, we have to go to school or drive to stadium far way from here, but now, we have our own stadium." Aunt Zhou from Zhaobaoshan sub-district said, cultural development is very good for its practical.

　　24-hour self-service library is another miniature of cultural people- benefit project.

　　In the 24-hour self-service library of Rongluo Road of Luotuo sub-district, citizens come to borrow books with a library card can borrow and return books for free by entering shelf number. 24-hour self-service library breaks through limitations of physical space of traditional library service and network of virtual library service, opens a new service mode of "third space", readers can complete certificate handling, borrow and return books and renew inquiries by themselves, and it is one of the measures to improve level of public library service in our district.

　　By the end of last year, our district has initially realized full coverage of public library and public electronic reading room at village (community) level, and built 10 sets of "24-hour city blocks self-service library".

　　Culture lead the future

　　The key of cultural people-benefit project is "live".

　　Go into rural culture hall at Zhongguan Road of Jiaochuan sub-district, some old people are rehearsing traditional opera and all have fun. Since the cultural hall built, numbers of artistic team composed by the villagers are active in this arena throughout the year. “We are all self-write, self-direct, self-act and self-enjoy.” Uncle Lin, an erhu player, told the report that culture hall has become spiritual and cultural landmark in local.

　　By the end of last year, 16 cultural hall like Zhongguanlu village have been built in our district. In the process of cultural construction, villagers are no longer spectators of cultural construction but the masters. Cultural activities brand come from the masses blossom everywhere in our district.

　　Government-leading, social participation, all-people creating culture also nourishes development of public welfare.

　　By the end of last November, social organizations public service center of our district started to put into use, and social organizations have their own home. Currently, there are 24 social organizations settled in the service center, and hatching a batch of new volunteer teams. “There are more than 1100 grass-roots social organizations in our district, but they are too small-scale and scattered to enjoy the government's assistance." Staff of the District Civil Affairs Bureau is confident of development of the service center, “We are trying to build a social cradle for grassroots NGOs.”

　　In the view of a person in charge of project, “cultural people-benefit” project not only cultivates a branch of native cultural team, but also plants vigorous cultural seeds to stimulate thriving cultural creativity.
