After CCTV’s program of News Studio broadcasted a piece of news entitled Frequent Successful Stories of Major Projects in the Beginning of the New Year on January 7, the CCTV News broadcasted another piece of news entitled Steady Progress of China’s Key Project Construction in the Beginning of the New Year in the evening of January 8.

In 2021, the Binhai Interflow Project of the parallel track of the Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway, the largest offshore hub interconnection project in Asia, started construction. By the end of last year, the first steel box girder landed safely and smoothly on the two piers of G ramp of Binhai interflow hub, marking the beginning of the installation and construction of superstructure of Binhai interflow bridge.

Composite beam erection is an important engineering node of Binhai Overpass. In order to rush deadlines for the delay due to the outbreak of COVID-19 last month, the Zhenhai District Housing and Transportation Bureau has intensified its efforts to ensure that the construction units are speeding up and catching up with the construction progress. During the New Year’s Day holiday, the Zhenhai District did a good job in the construction of pile foundation, pier and abutment and continuous beam of Binhai interflow trunk line, which has laid a solid foundation for the successful completion of the construction task.

Upon completion, the project will become the largest offshore interflow hub in Asia. After the opening of the parallel track of the Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway, the space-time distance between the south wing of the Yangtze River Delta region and the cities in the north will be greatly shortened, which will play an important role in promoting regional economic and social development.
