The Zhenhai District Civilization Practice Action Day has been launched and over 4,000 Party member cadres and masses in the district participated in voluntary activities. In the morning of that day, up to about 30 government leaders with the Zhenhai District Comprehensive Administration and Law Enforcement Bureau responded to the call of "Ten Thousand Volunteers Providing Voluntary Services" of the Zhenhai District Civilization Commission, and carried out "civilized habits in hands" voluntary activities to help with garbage classification together with "urban management volunteers" of the Chezhanlu Community and Miaodai Village.

“Do you know how to classify domestic garbage? Are the garbage in your store classified every day?” Yin Weining, a volunteer, together with "urban management volunteers", paid visits to catering businesses along the Daximen Road, greeting shopkeepers from door to door and handing over brochures.

At the same time, some cadres and volunteers of the Bureau went to the Yingui Residential Quarter to publicize garbage classification; some picked up garbage along the village road with pick-up pliers and plastic bags in the Miaodai Village; some others carry out supervision on garbage classification at the side of garbage cans, publicize garbage classification knowledge, guide residents to classify correctly and form a good habit of garbage classification.
