The List of Ningbo 5G Application Pilot Projects 2020 has been released. It is noteworthy that the project of "5G + Intelligent Factory for Manufacturing of Dry Batteries" jointly applied by   the Zhejiang Mustang Battery Co., Ltd. and Ningbo Branch of China Unicom was selected into the List.

In order to implement the plan of 5G application and industrialization and the promotion plan of 5G development in Ningbo, 24 projects including the project of "5G + Intelligent Factory for Manufacturing of Dry Batteries" were selected into the Publicity List of Ningbo 5G Application Pilot Projects 2020, according to the requirements of the notice on soliciting 5G application pilot projects in Ningbo and upon self-application, department recommendation and expert onsite evaluation.

In 2020, 41 automation (intelligent) technological transformation projects were carried out in our district; 12 digital workshops were newly cultivated, and 3 of them are 5G technology based intelligent factories. "Our district actively promotes the construction of 5G + industrial internet projects, with nineteen 5G + industrial internet projects scheduled with a total investment of about 1.19 billion yuan." A relevant person in charge of the Zhenhai District Economic and Information Technology Bureau said. The Zhenhai District actively applied for various 5G + industrial internet projects of the city, the province and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and encouraged the application for digital workshop projects to apply 5G + internet technologies. Projects with 15 enterprises, including AMICO, MUSTANG, HOME-LINK and so on were selected as Ningbo 5G+ industrial internet projects, among which AMICO has been listed as one of the first batch of 5G + industrial Internet "8 + 1 + 1" pilot enterprises.

In December 2020, the 5G+ Industrial Internet Transformation Meeting was held by the Zhenhai District in the Zhejiang Mustang Battery Co., Ltd.. Responsible persons of more than 50 enterprises in the district visited the 4 application scenarios of "5G + Industrial Internet" of Mustang Battery Co., Ltd. on site to appreciate the speed and efficiency brought by the integration of 5G and industrial internet. "Our district will go deep into the layout, speed up the 5G infrastructure construction to cover industrial enterprises, and expand the scope of pilot demonstration on the basis of mastering project situation, so as to promote smooth implementation of projects." A relevant person in charge of the Zhenhai District Economic and Information Technology Bureau said.
