The Ningbo Botanical Garden Golden Autumn Flower & Light Show 2020, long expected by the mass public, was ceremoniously launched on September 25. On the first day of the light show, visitors were able to enjoy flowers in the day and lights in the evening. What a great time for tourists!

In the golden autumn season, the sea of sunflowers has always been the first choice of tourists to take photos. This year, the Ningbo Botanical Garden boasts 200,000 sunflowers of over 30 categories planted on an area of 32,000 square meters. Apart from sunflowers, there’re gaura lindheimeri, cosmos sulphureus, zinnia elegans, muhlenbergia capillaries, and so on along the “Road of Evolution” in the Garden. Each sea of flowers is unique and has become a new popular destination favored by tourists, attracting numerous visitors to come.

After the “Night Flowers” Light Show in the summer, the upgraded version of the Golden Autumn Light Show now is on. In addition to the previous 10 scenes, such as the time tunnel, 3D water curtain and colorful lake light, now there are also strange fruit lamps, Moon Rabbit lamps, and the lamp which portraits Goddess Chang’s fly to the moon, and the lamp of Na Cha, etc.

“This time, the lights are more beautiful. There are many kinds of them. My son just doesn't want to leave here.” Mr. Wang, a visitor onsite said. Another visitor, Ms. Li, was there at the light show together with her parents. They enjoyed their day in the Garden and were extremely satisfied.

As is introduced by the working staff of the Ningbo Botanical Garden, an exhibition of rare butterflies will be available during the National Day Holiday and the Mid-Autumn Festival. Tens of thousands of world’s top 10 rare and famous butterflies from 5 continents would gather in the Ningbo Botanical Garden through dense jungles and seas for the festival with tourists. Tourists then would be able to experience the wonderful journey of flying colorful butterflies. Precious butterfly specimens will be displayed as well.

Beautiful sceneries are of course indispensable. The combination of movement and stillness would make it more interesting. Games of pirate ships, merry-go-round, karting, and newly added kayak and archery are waiting for you to enjoy.
