    Zhenhai extends high-temperature sympathy for disabled workers in welfare enterprises

    15 welfare enterprises in our district sent 480 disabled workers comfort materials against high-temperature. Under high temperature, trucks loaded with drinks and summer supplies successively arrived in these 15 enterprises.

    The Ningbo Haida Plastic Machinery Co., Ltd. is a welfare enterprise with a long history. The company has hired 33 disabled workers, and the number of these disabled workers accounts for 32% of the total employees of the company. The average monthly income of each disabled worker in the company is over 3,500 yuan. These disabled workers were extremely happy to receive these comfort materials against high-temperature from the company. They said: “This is our company’s care for us, which greatly improves our happiness gained from working.”

    In recent years, welfare enterprises in the Zhenhai District has been taking innovative measures to improve the welfare of disabled workers, attaching great importance to the implementation of the rights and interests of disabled workers, and providing guarantee for their happy working and secure life.

    In 2019, nearly 500 disabled employees in our district were employed by 15 welfare enterprises, accounting for more than 30% of the total number of employees of these enterprises. The largest proportion of disabled employees in one company is as high as 46%. The monthly income of disabled employees in welfare enterprises reaches 3,300 yuan in average, and the highest of which is more than 10,000 yuan.

    As is learnt, for more than 10 years in a row, the Zhenhai district has been sending coolness to disabled workers in welfare enterprises in the high-temperature summer. While focusing on the workplace safety in summer, all enterprises ensure the safety of employees working under high temperature and protect rights and interests of disabled workers.
